Privacy Policy
Updated August 24, 2026
Rotina has no sign-up, no account, and keeps your routine on no server of ours. Your tasks stay between your iPhone and your Notion.
What stays on your iPhone
- Your Notion access token, in the device Keychain, protected by the system. It is what lets the app read and write to your database.
- A copy of today, so the widget can draw the list without depending on the network: task titles for today, their time, and whether they are done. It lives in a container shared between the app and the widget, on the device.
- Your choices: which database to use, what the columns are called, the time zone that cuts your day, and the appearance.
None of this leaves the device, except to Notion itself.
What passes through our server, and for how long
Connecting your Notion account uses OAuth. So that the integration secret never has to travel inside the app, the exchange happens in two functions of ours, hosted on Google Cloud:
- You authorize in Notion, and Notion returns a code to us.
- We exchange that code for the token and hold the token for at most two minutes, as a single-use ticket.
- The app claims the ticket, receives the token, and the ticket is deleted right away.
If the app does not claim it within those two minutes, the ticket expires and is discarded. We do not store your token, we do not store your tasks, and after that we have no way to read your database.
Purchase
The one-time purchase is processed by the App Store. It is organized for us by RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous device identifier and the transaction data: which product, when, and in which country. RevenueCat does not receive your tasks or your Notion token, and Apple does not hand us your name, email, or payment details.
What we do not do
- No tracking and no advertising.
- We do not sell or share data with third parties.
- There is no behavioral analytics inside the app.
How to erase everything
In the app settings, Disconnect erases the token from the Keychain and the copy of the day. Deleting the app takes the rest with it. You can also revoke Rotina's access at any time from Notion itself, under settings and members, in the connections tab.
Children
Rotina is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
